Built the community campaign platform for a new school hall — petition and support flows, a voice-enabled AI assistant and an MCP interface so AI agents can help too.
The problem
A parent-led campaign needed to win about $12–14M of state funding for a multipurpose school hall and community hub — with volunteers, little money and a short political window.
What Jenks built
A full Cloudflare stack (Workers, D1, R2, Email Routing, Access): petition mirror, wall of support, community ideas, organisational endorsements with letter uploads, pledges, news and an admin console — plus an AI chat assistant with voice grounded in a campaign knowledge base, and an MCP endpoint and CLI so AI agents can read and act on the campaign.
Why it matters
Civic technology built on the same patterns Jenks uses at work: knowledge base, agent interface, human approval for actions. It shows initiative — nobody asked him to build it.
